Card Casting
A card caster gains all the following cards when they take the initial talent, but choose a certain number to draw upon each day.
Fate is not always kind to those who toy with it. For every three beneficial cards, the Caster will find another card less welcome.
#1 - The Warrior
The card portrays a brave warrior in armour. Effect: Add +1 to Armour for the spell duration, or 3 rounds, whichever is greater. |
#2 - The Rogue
The artwork shows a taxman being relieved of his spoils. Effect: Use 1 AP from the target instead of one of your own to use the Talent. |
#3 - The Archwizard
The powerful wizard portrayed slings spells with ease.. Effect: Remove the cooldown for the talent |
#4 - The Lovers
Two lovers reach for each other. Effect: Add 1 more target to the spell |
#5 - The Dire Gaze
The tale of a woman abandoned, broken and given the power to petrify for crimes she had no say in. Effect: Reduce one of the spell's targets AP by 1. |
#6 - The Carnival
The true chaos in revelry. Effect: Everyone within 30m gains 1d3 Action Points for the turn. |
#7 - The Dragon
The mighty dragon draws breath. Effect: Inflict 1d5+5 damage every 4 character levels. |
#8 - The Heavens
The card shows a quiet, sacred space. Effect: After the spell is cast no one within 30m can take offensive actions, including the caster, but healing is doubled. |
#9 - The Hells
Torment lays here. Effect: After the spell is cast healing is not possible within 30m, and damage is increased by 3. |
#10 - The World
All is right with the world. Effect: Restore the Healing Limit one character of the caster's choice. |
