Joset Frall | The Broken Shell
Joset Frall's story is one of competition and downfall. A neophyte, then noted adventurer of the Guild, Frall ends up trying to stop a Lichdom ritual and instead being made a part of it.
From there he will serve as a guardian, and then rebel against his 'creator', either finding salvation through the Party's aid or sacrifice by his own will.
Joset is intended to be a friendly rival to the party for the start of there adventurers, until his tragic fall (possibly with the party in sight, or because of there refusal/inability to join him) who becomes a tragic, and dangerous foe.

As a Unique character, Joset is generally dangerous enough to fight one one one with a standard Party member, but his weaker will might make him a target for certain spells. His heavy armour and high damage is matched by his slower speed, although he has significant ranged ability too.
At level 9 Lichdom significantly boosts his abilities, and with his massive armour the Party may find there attacks bouncing off him a lot. This continues for levels 10, 11 and 12, as he becomes a Lieutenant too and gains new and unpleasant powers. At 13th, 14th and 15th levels his powers are even nastier, but will be typically aimed at his former 'master' - which does not mean his wrath won't fall on the party, too, but an unlikely alliance might form before his final fate. There is also an alternative set of stats for him should the party choose to try and heal him - as an unwilling Lich he can be converted back to humanity, with the right ingredients...
