Races
There are many species in the multiverse with unique quirks and abilities.
Bloodlines
Whether by...traditional methods or via magic many races interbreed to one degree or another. Most races will feature a Bloodline section where a pure-blooded option can be selected or an additional bloodline. It should be noted that things are often more complicated - someone's parent might themselves be of mixed descent, or a character might not have any traits from one parent despite their lineage - but in the end, it's up to the player how much their bloodline affects someone. A Human with the Elf Blood Bloodline might present as a full Half-Elf or a slightly lither human with mild tips to their ears.
Common Races
These races are common and powerful, often forming nations of there own or forming large sections of a population.
Despite being the most common races to see on the roads or on city streets, they are not always the most usual races in adventuring groups, which seem to have a frankly astonishingly high rate of dysfunctional family ties in there numbers.
Still, social structures tend to favour the most numerous populations, and it's often likely that these races will find at least some members of there usual population in even the most unusual lands and places.

Lizardfolk
The mighty inheritors of giant reptiles from the past, Lizardfolk are strong and true. |
Uncommon Races
These races are less usual to see, and in some cases are not traditional races at all. However, they quite often become adventurers to find others like them or explore beyond there own people.
As they are often uncommon it's usually rare for them to be a dominant group in an area, and often the biggest gatherings you see are large villages. For some this creates a close feeling of kinship whenever they meet another of there kind - for others it means they've rarely met there own blood and don't have any strong feelings.
Given there often odd and unusual backgrounds there tends to be a surprisingly high number of these races seen in adventuring groups.

Giantborn
Blessed with the blood and power of Giants, these beings are impressively powerful. |
Simulacrum
Artificial life forms that can take many forms. |
Awakened Animal
Years of pouring magic into animals have created a race of creatures every bit as conscious and intelligent as any biped. |
Elemental-Kin
Not races as such, but mortals who have somehow been enthused with the power of the Elements Themselves. They have a natural inclination to their parent element, but nothing forces them to follow it.
Of the seven, the Dryda - beings of nature - are the most common, as the strong infusion of the natural world means that they are commonly found on most material planes. Dryda often live with there parents or extended families, and so communities of them are more common than the other six.
The others tend to be a result of magical exposure to an element rather than a deliberate act, although it's not unheard of for parents to seek out the elementally infused for just such a reason.

Chalkydri
Beings of rainbow and light who originate from the kingdoms of the Sun, it is said. |
