Warrior's Focus
While most adventurers can use a weapon or two, some focus on their ability to thrust bits of wood and metal at their opponent in shockingly fast ways.
These talents require a certain focus. You can have 2 talents, with as many ranks as needed, in Magic and Skill talents. Any more than that and the character will be Unfocused, which will cut the bonuses these talents grant in half. Any more than 5 Magic and Skill talents and these advantages no longer work, although they can be retrained at the same level up.
Note that Social talents that involve magic and crafting are fine - it's perfectly reasonable for a swordsman to learn a trick to clean the grime off their weapons and armour.
Needless to say, these talents are mutually exclusive with Caster's Focus and Skilled Focus.
